Head-to-head ice.

Well, the good news is Iginla et al rebounded with a solid effort against good players. The big boys sawed it off against the Sharks Thornton line at ES tonight. That's not too bad on the second evening of a B2B.

Of course, as has been the case for the Flames this year when one half of the top 6 has a good night, the other guys got killed. Jokinen et al were matched against the Pavelski line and had their asses handed to them. That discrepency led to the team being outclassed at ES overall tonight. It's something that's simply going to happen against a good team in their own barn now and then, but it's not something any Flames fans want to hear in the midst of a 1 and 7 run.

The PP was bitchin'

Conroy's 3 chances in 16 seconds of 5v4 makes me laugh.

Still want to see more of him. His 2-4 relative to the team is respectable given that he played most of it in the furst by my eye

Well, same inconsistency, same result, same score (or almost)

Only this time, it's Joker's line that was horrendous. Ian White still sucks.

Although badly outplayed last night Kipper was no world beater, and that doesn't stop it from statistically looking like he was awful.

Oh well, I long for the day this season when Miikka is our only problem, becuase then he likely won't be. There are just too many breakdowns right now.

I guess with this roster, it's always going to be the same thing. River hockey...or no goals. I guess that's what happens when the top forwards don't think skating and puck pressure on the back check is part of their job description.

I seriously would trade Iginla, Jokinen, White and Staios for Datsuyk right now. Oh wait, that would be a win, win, win, win, win for us.

You know? Out of 698 players in the league, there are only 6, with a worse +/- than Ian White's -10.

I guess I was being too hard on him for chasing players behind the net, screening the goalie, being so damn slow and the only defender I've seen who couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat.

When is Pardy coming back? We can dress 7 and use White exclusively on the PP.
