For the second straight game, the Flames were punchless except this time they couldn't even muster anything in the third period while trailing. All the big guns were completely outclassed today, especially the Flames first line and defense pairing. Only Tom Kostoplous finished the game in the black (+1) in terms of scoring chances tonight.
Calgary's offensive game is about 5-steps back of where it left off last year. They'll need to significantly improve that to get anywhere.

Doesn't seem as if Moss is any answer for that first line. Can't say I'm shocked, of course. They might as well put him back with GlenX/Olli. At least they'd likely have one decent line most nights.
@Robert Cleave
Yup. He's had two rough outings in a row.
It was very very ugly today.
Hard to point the finger at anyone without pointing it at everyone.
We're safe to assume improvement is inevitable?
@thymebalm
Yes. Not even a replacement level team would have their shots doubled every game.
I expect the experiment will continue with Moss, which is unfortunate. With these kinds of results, they should put Stajan on he top line, with some luck they might actually end up with 3 second line units.
