Nation Network Hockey Pool: October 30th Edition

After many requests, we’ve finally sat down and updated the standings in the Nation Network Hockey Pool.

The contest rules and original entries are here. Scoring is as laid out in the original post, with one exception: because goaltenders are graded primarily on save percentage, some have run up enormous totals in the early going (Jonathan Quick, for example, is worth 152.5 points today, better than the entire total of several teams), so I have divided their totals by eight to prevent them from crazily skewing the contest. As the season continues, these updates will feature goaltender totals divided by a lesser amount.

Every effort was made to include as many entrants as possible. Several entrants left one or two spaces blank; in these cases the box(es) was/were filled by alphabetical order. Entrants who left more than three spaces blank were eliminated from consideration.

Glen had a bit of bad luck - I actually thought about posting his picks to show how many of those negative players he pegged in the early going.

Not really. Dubnyk, Quick, Fleury and Miller. Only other Oiler is Hopkins.
