Bad news everyone.
Vicki Hall reports this morning that has a bad MCL and is going to be sidelined a minimum of six weeks. In the middle of a career season in terms of goals and shooting percentage, so Flames skater was running hotter than Curtis Glencross. Even with the addition of Cammalleri and the return of Tanguay, Glencross would have been a major piece of the puzzle, likely sliding back into a more shut-down role allowing the scorers a bit more breathing room at even strength.
Two of the Flames best possession players from the last couple of years (Moss and Glencross) are now on the shelf long-term. Bad luck for Calgary who really need to have all hands on deck for the playoff push.
That sucks!
Glencross was also the Flames best penalty killer.
damn. a big blow indeed.
Any news on Moss's time line?
Unfortunate but in my opinion not devastating. More minutes are available for guys who earn it.
I think there are some hungry young players on this team who potentially have a big chance put in front of them. Guys have a chance to re define themselves.

Nothing new on Moss.
Have both Glenx & Moss in my keeper league. So crappy.
I also think some of our younger guys will step it up in their absence though.
Have really liked the play lately of Backlund, Jones, Comeau, Bouma, etc.
That's really bad news for Calgary. Glencross was having his best season. We need some secondary scorers to step up.
We've really been hit hard by injuries, guys have been out for 20 games at a time.
Yay for us! :)
can you say derek roy
