A "high" event first period basically won the chance count for the Flames. The top line got their heads kicked in at even strength tonight, but with 4 points between the 3 of them it can probably be forgiven. The OMG line continues to dominate.

Holy crap Butler needs to get healthy, like now! Sarich and Hannan with 23mins each, scary.

Sarich played mostly with Jay, which allowed Bouw to play the left side for a change.

Sarich's, numbers both in scoring chances and Corsi both better than Jay's in slightly less playing time, nothing to complain about.

I noticed Hannan playing the left side and Gio the right - I think the first time for Gio on the off side this year - Hannan has been playing the right on the third pair most of the year. Their numbers not great, maybe switch them back Gio on the left and Hannan on the right.

Corsi and scoring chances look very good for the sheltered third pair of Smith and Babchuk in only 12 min of play.

Another solid effort by Kolanos, which is borne out by the numbers. The guy is going to get one soon. Hopefully its a big one !!
