Another decent night, but the Flames lost in the OT coin flip.

Not much else to say. Jokinen's line was buried hard, so that's why all their numbers are rough. The tope line probably should have done more given their realtively good circumstances. Oh well.

The real sh!tty part? This is going to be the same team we all as fans have to watch next year as well. Many people are talking about all this money being available to sign UFA's and for trades ect. Well, the first two lines are pretty well set in stone, as well as the top(?) 3 D (Bouw, Butler, Gio). The coach will likely not be re-signed, and this circus will begin in October all over again. You'd think managment/ownership would get tired of having a team finish out of the playoffs on a regular basis while having a team up against the salary cap. Glad it's not my money.

Stajan. Man he was good but no first unit PP time. Jokinen has been struggling since the Phoniex game. Yet he's still first unit PP. Despite being so insanely banged up they were so close. PP failed miserably and they missed glorious first period chances (Stajan setting up many of them).

I may get laughed at but I saw potential in this year's roster if healthy. I honestly thought they would do damage if they made playoffs.

Can someone please quantify the level of suck that it takes on Babchuks part, to bring that bad of an attempt to that critical of a moment.

I mean... he does have some inkling of whats going on out there doesn't he?

and if not....... what the $!&@#)(#_*!(^!*($_#$ is he doing on the ice???
