The dream 2014-15 season for the Calgary Flames will continue.

The Flames have clinched a berth in the 2015 Stanley Cup playoffs by virtue of their 3-1 win earlier tonight over the Los Angeles Kings.

It's the 21st time the Flames have made the playoffs since moving to Calgary in 1980 and the 27th time they've made the post-season in franchise history. They'll face the Vancouver Canucks in the opening round of the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Yeahhhh baby! Everything from here on is gravy.. man I love this team. I'm going to try and gather some troops out here in the GTA and start a Red Mile East at Maple Leaf Square in Toronto.

Also, how about we put aside any difference in the Corsi divide for the duration of the playoffs and just ban together behind the team - and reason why we're all here.

I normally enjoy this site very much. I was at the game last night so I was looking forward to reading the comments from everyone this morning.

What a huge dissappointment. Just rediculous (the site that is, the game was awesome)...

EDIT: I just read the Game Wrap Up article and it was very good. I take back what I said about the site being rediculous. The site is fine. This thread however got totally out of control. It diminishes the brand value of the usually good stuff that is put out here.

Welp, the mod edit and ban hammer has hit me down. So to quote myself earlier with edits to abide by comment rules:

"I missed the whole [redacted] debacle earlier but I found it patently ironic that he has been erased from the site.

Further when posting this comment I read: 'Comments are moderated. Pretend your mom is reading over your shoulder.'

Looks like [redacted]'s Mom has found out about his internet powertrip and given him a timeout."

I am busy. I cannot read every comment.

Email Ryan or Kent or myself if something bothers you and we'll take care of it.

People essentially saying "nah-nah-nah" to me, Lambert and whomever else are attacking us, especially if we're mentioned by name, like we are. I'm going to delete those comments. If you disagree, fine, but that's the way I've done things here for the past 4 or whatever years.

Again, these comments are moderated. We are not the government. That's the end of discussion.

The problem a lot of people have with Lambert and the reason they go "nah-nah-nah Lambert" is he seemingly intentionally antagonizes the fans and has, on multiple occasions, called the Flames fans and readers/commenters idiots in his articles posted on the Nations website, not just PD.

One such article being the one about Oilers fans cheering for the Flames that was posted here at FN for a few hours before being moved to only ON.

The way I see it. If he can dish it out and insult the readers, he should be able take being called out.
