     *GM Darryl Sutter & newly acquired F Chris Higgins speak with the media*

Well, well, well, the other shoe I've been expecting to drop (also known as the Kotalik flip), has failed to do so. And after listening to some of Darryl's comments today courtesy FAN960, its starting to look like it won't, at least as far as Kotalik is concerned.  After a whirlwind 48 hours, things have begun to settle down in Flame-land allowing us the opportunity to sit back, take a deep breath, and let it all sink in.

The Calgary Flames had a 3-2 lead 5:53 in to the third period, when Rene Bourque took what could only be called a "bone-headed" penalty for a broken stick. All he had to do was drop his stick and there's no call. Jay Bouwmeester took a boarding penalty thirty-five seconds later and the Stars had a two-man advantage, leading to a Brad Richards goal to tie the game. From there, the Flames and Stars went to a shoot-out and what do you know... the Flames lose making them winless in eight.
