The Flames got their asses handed to them for the majority of the game tonight, but as we all know the better team doesn’t always win. This evening, it was another stroke of luck for the Flames as Matt Stajan scored the winner in dramatic fashion to give Calgary the game by a score of 3-2-keeping them in the playoff conversation.

The Winnipeg Jets came into town tonight on the second game of a back-to-back and you could tell they were feeling the effects from last night's loss to the Vancouver Canucks. After the Flames went up on leads of 3-0 and 4-2, it was pretty much over for the newer Atlanta franchise as the older Atlanta franchise emerged with the 5-3 win.

There won't be any goaltending awards given out after Calgary's 5-4 win over the Montreal Canadiens Tuesday night. A couple of major mistakes and weak positional play from both goalies left the flood gates open and the players took advantage of it, with Jarome Iginla (2G, 1A) and Curtis Glencross (1G, 2A) leading the way for the victors tonight.
