On Twitter today, somebody suggested that we at The FAN 960 should no longer refer to Montreal's Mike Cammalleri by name. Instead we should refer to him as "MC", to which I suggested we take a cue from the 2004 movie The Village and refer to him only as "he we do not speak of".

So, last week, I put up the first piece on Calgary Flames GM Darryl Sutter in a "The Good, The Bad, The Ugly" series… I put up three examples, and I'm sure there are more. Well, now on to part two, as I'll throw out three examples that I believe fit in the "bad" category. In this case, I'll classify bad as deals that were made that didn't look terrible to start, but certainly don't look great now.

Yep, even though the Flames aren't in the NHL's postseason dance, the city of Calgary gets some postseason action at the 'Dome in different forms. On the hockey front, they've got the WHL's Eastern Conference Champion Calgary Hitmen, who opened their series with Tri City on Friday night with an absolute thumping (7-0 Hitmen). Or there's the Calgary Roughnecks of the National Lacrosse League, who have a Saturday afternoon playoff date with the Edmonton Rush.

As the NHL playoffs and the offseason for the Calgary Flames continues, the topic of upper management and their future continues to be a hot topic. It's also a topic I've had a hell of a time forming an opinion on, as I've gone back and forth on how I feel about the whole thing. As such, I've tried to really plot out different argument points, and I've decided to trot out a "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" set when it comes to GM Darryl Sutter.

Sometimes we hear the phrase "the grass is greener on the other side." Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't... but right now, a number of former members of the Calgary Flames are playing post-season hockey with another team. I thought it might be interesting to see how they're doing while Flames fans still lament the season that was.
