Inconsistent Iginla, Team Canada Edition

Ice Hockey - Day 7 - Switzerland v Canada

It's been an up and down Olympics for Team Canada forward Jarome Iginla, not unlike his season with the Calgary Flames. Some pretty good highs, and some pretty invisible periods which you can classify as lows. And after a 5-3 win loss to Team USA on Sunday night, I'm still not sure what to make of Jarome Iginla, Team Canada Edition.

So, I've got it! I've figured out how to spur Jarome Iginla into the 50-goal product he was 2 seasons ago! (I'm a genius). Bring in Sidney Crosby and Rick Nash, and you've got it made. I can't believe I didn't think of this before! In all seriousness, a great outing to start for Team Canada and that Iginla guy didn't fare too well either.

It's getting a liiiiiitle old, this script the Calgary Flames have played by, isn't it? Once again, for the umpteenth time this season, the opposing team scored more than one goal and the Calgary Flames lost.

As Calgary's Jarome Iginla hit the millenium mark in games played over the weekend, the Iginla talk on the FAN 960 has ramped up. So I thought it would be pertinent to look back and bring it all full circle when talking about the man to play all those games with one team.
