1. Injuries are bad
It's getting to the point where it might be easier to name Flames who aren't injured. Mikael Backlund, Blair Jones, Lee Stempniak, Curtis Glencross, David Moss, Derek Smith. I feel like I must be missing a few guys who, like, died or something too.

So that means no more excuses.
I think I'm finally starting to deal with the team's resolution to 'Go For It' again this year, though that is likely helped in no small way by the fact that they've won five of their last seven with a shootout loss mixed in. So for those Oilers faithful wondering why a scummy Flames fan is penning your GDB, kindly refer all complaints to Mr. Wanye Gretz III, Esq. - KW)
Things can't be easy for the Edmonton Oilers these days.
Everyone is hurt (or at least faking injuries) and Taylor Hall is paying teammates to step on his face, all so they don't have to play for the Oilers. And really, given how badly things have gone lo these past every-year-since-they-accidentally-made-the-Cup-final, who can blame them?
