Good morning, I hope this Tuesday finds you happy, healthy, and most importantly, that those in your life are doing well.
Nine years ago today my father, William Arthur Gregor, passed away at the young age of 56. The morning of his funeral I couldn’t sleep and decided to write an e-mail to my friends to release my feelings, and since then I type an e-mail in his honour each year, and hope that it somehow lessens the void in my heart and the hearts of my family.

The pre-season is winding down. Rookies and hopefuls are filtering back to the farm teams and final rosters are being firmed up. It's time to start taking stock of what the new season will hold for the Calgary Flames.
Between luncheons with superstars and avoiding Wayne Gretz, I cobbled together some questions (and answers!) and managed to convince both Jean Lefebvre and TLP to provide some of their own unique insight into what I consider key issues of the 09-10 season. On the heels of a stretch of three games in three nights and four in five, the Flames suddenly those extra bodies lying around the House That Kevin Lavallee Built extremely disposable and on Tuesday shipped seven of them to Abbotsford.
That leaves a roster that is pretty easy to decipher on the goaltending end of things, a modest challenge on the blue line and totally "holy-smokes-what-are-they-going-to-do-with-all-those-guys?" up front.
