Perhaps the only debate with the potential to be more divisive than the fate of Darryl Sutter this off-season is what to do with Jarome Iginla. And despite the strong emotions and sentiment such a question evokes, his performance this season renders it a legitimate one.

I guess you can call Wednesday the official end of the season for the Calgary Flames, as the players did their traditional locker cleanup and exit interviews with the coaching staff and management. Monday it was Darryl Sutter and Ken King giving their thoughts on a disappointing season. While that session didn't seem to satisfy anyone, I felt we heard a little more from players on Wednesday afternoon

I was supportive of the move to bring in Brent Sutter this past off-season. Although I was ambivalent about Mike Keenan's coaching over his tenure, I liked Sutter's resume, his results in New Jersey and the fact that he had an established history with some of the Flames players (Boyd, Dawes, Phaneuf). He had guided a Devils team featuring the cheapest blueline in the league and half a season of Scott Clemmensen to a division title the year prior - a team that boasted some impressive stats across the board. With the Flames needing to tighten up the defense, it seemed like a natural fit.

Now that the season is officially over for the Calgary Flames, it's time for the real finger-pointing and question-asking to begin. And, as such, the top of Flames management have made their public appearances and some of those questions have been asked.
