After limiting things nicely in Phoenix the night before, the Flames had a lot of problems trying to contain the Ducks on the second evening of a B2B. The only reason the game was within reach after two was the notable play of Leland Irving.

The second line didn’t have as good a contest, with Olli Jokinen visibly struggling to move the puck through the neutral zone. The top line was also outchanced, although they weren’t too far under water.
