Flames Pick Brett Kulak in the 4th Round

    At 105th, Calgary has picked Vancouver Giants defender Brett Kulak. Standing at just 6’1" and weighing just 175 pounds, Kulak scored 9 goals and 25 points in 72 games in the WHL last year. Kulak was the 55th ranked NA skater by Central Scouting final rankings.

Flames Pick Jon Gillies in the Third Round

    With the 75th pick, Calgary chose Jon Gillies of the USHL Indiana Ice. He’s a goalie with a .915 SV% in in 53 games last year. He was the 4th ranked NA goaltender in central scoutings mid-term rankings. Like Jankowski, Gillies has committed to play with Providence College in the NCAA next year.
