The Calgary Flames have made a roster move in advance of Sunday’s game against the Carolina Hurricanes. The club has recalled defenseman Rinat Valiev from the Stockton Heat of the American Hockey League.
The Calgary Flames were without Travis Hamonic for the latter half of Friday night’s game against the Washington Capitals. Based on reports from Sunday’s practice, Hamonic was absent from the ice.
It’s February: trade deadline month. No matter what the Flames choose to do over the next three weeks and change, we should probably just roll with it. After all, who saw this coming?
