TSN’s Salim Valji clocked the press conference in at 87 seconds.
What did he think of the game: “It was a hell of a game. Just couldn’t get the equalizer.”
Did he like their start: “I said it was a hell of a game. We couldn’t get the equalizer, though. Give the players credit, tough environment.”
How’s Chris Tanev: “He got hurt, went down on the second goal and didn’t come back.”
Did that game get too wide-open for his liking: “Not really. Just played two games like that in here earlier in the series.”
On Jacob Markstrom’s performance: “I thought he was alright. If we’d have won, then he’d have been better than alright.”
Did he think team managed pressure of trying to close out series: “Trying to close what out?.. Well, you’ve got to win a game… It takes a lot. Some guys are still learning about how much it takes. Said it yesterday and I said it this morning. Same thing.”
