An improbable win made more impressive by the fact the Flames were full value for the "W". On the second night of a B2B Calgary was consistently the better team, driving Vancouver to the outside in the defensive zone and giving them next to nothing for a better part of 60 minutes. The Sedins and company were completely neutered by the Flames, something I don't think I've said for a long time (if ever).

Two quality wins in a row. An early present for Flames fans by Calgary this year.

Can you really neuter things that don't have male genitalia?

And is that Sarich, as in Cory Sarich, with a 4-0 scoring-chance differential, or his evil twin brother who is actually an elite, first-pairing d-man?

Good, good

6 is playing sheltered 3rd pairing minutes, he should excel for 3.6m.

The one i'm impressed with is 27, very nice hockey sense.

@Shep

I was glad to see Smith play well on this night. He coughed up the puck on a lazy plat against the Wings that cost the Flames.

@ChinookArch

Smith is doing good but is 27 years old. I think the 21 year old Brodie is playing really well and hs a chnce to be something special.

Best win of the year. Better than anything I'll get under the tree this year.

Best Xmas present I could get this year. As an Flames fan living in Vancity I can have my Christmas dinner in peace. May even wear my road white jersey!
