Jiri Hudler “Questionable” Tonight With The Flu

Some last-minute news for everybody prior to the start of tonight’s Calgary Flames contest against the Chicago Blackhawks. Via our friends at Sportsnet 960 The Fan, Flames general manager Brad Treliving noted in an interview with Pat Steinberg that forward Jiri Hudler – who’s been off the ice for the last couple of days – is “questionable” tonight with what was termed a “bad case of the flu.”
And your pal Steinberg corroborated this news item from his press box perch.
The Flames are carrying just one extra forward, so expect Mason Raymond to slot back in if Hudler can’t play and for Calgary’s lines to get all scrambled up due to his absence. Hudler has 4 goals, 9 assists and 13 points in 20 games for the Flames so far this season, placing him third on the team in points.
