BAHAHAHAHA eakins to Toronto!!! for those who want a laugh read that column… I’ll sum up the amount of jealously spewing and how week-minded they must be if the thought of hiring him is real… The Leafs job fair moves along on and the list of candidates grows and grows. Hire someone, Shanny, before our standards hit rock bottom and we start considering former Oilers.

“Oh god, he’s right behind me isn’t he…

    Dallas we’re sorry!

    DALLAS EAKINS

Just don’t make me go back to Edmonton. I’ll pick up tape balls after practice, anything.

    WORK EXPERIENCE

Head Coach of the Edmonton Oilers (2013-14)

This wasn’t so much a job as it was a sentence, but luckily it didn’t last too long. “Led” a really bad team to a really bad record. Okay you can skip down the page now.”

Leafs smart? Reading up on some of the never-ending leaf propaganda, it is amazing that Eakins is even being considered. Sweet Jebus, the Oil have been mismangaged for the last 10 plus years, the leafs for 47 years.

The Oil would appear to be coming out of the management basement at last, the leafs are no where close to improving themselves in this area yet. Considering Eakins speaks volumes. Safe to say that once again the leafs are by themselves in providing the rest of us with a few laughs through out the year(s). There is a reason why many of us label the leafs as the Laffs!

Got to give the leaf organization credit for always being true to their nickname.

…Eakins and the Leafs…the way it always shoulda been…he was touted as the next best thing to come to the leaves when he got lucky with a decent AHL Marlie team and poof he ends up in Etown …

FYI?…I want James Reimer and Leafs 4th overall pick in June for Eberle and Fasth

  • A-Mc

I don’t normally take pleasure in other teams discomfort but holy crow i would donate $100 towards the “Eakins Next Leafs Head Coach” fundraiser

It would give me serious LOL’s. I may actually start watching Toronto games! so there’s that…

A-Mc…last I see Reimer started April 7 ’15 against C-bus and he got pulled but not for injury…still wundrin’ how hurt he is…?U no?

Further…the leaf pick could bring Oilers Dylan Strome…could well replace an Eberle one day…could be 3 picks in first round… yikers!

The NHL coaching scene is exactly like the work force scene in the lower mainland. The same bimbos with the same experience gets hired by the same bimbo employers all around the cities. It’s like employers can’t even hire something different but from the same pool of second and third left overs.
