Relive the Flames’ rollercoaster ride to the playoffs (VIDEO)

Apr 2, 2017, 19:45 EDTUpdated: Apr 2, 2017, 19:47 EDT
In October of 2016 I attended a Calgary Flames game. They were playing the Carolina Hurricanes and it just might have been the single worst hockey game I have ever been to in my life. Ever.
Fast forward six months and the Flames have officially punched their ticket to the National Hockey League playoffs, their second time in three years doing so. Somehow, someway, through profound peaks and frustrating valleys, the Calgary Flames’ 2016-17 campaign was nothing short of an emotional and cardiovascular rollercoaster ride.
In an attempt to recapture the magic, I’ve put together a tribute montage of the season (similar to my 2014-15 version), reliving a regular season that really felt like three or four different ones stitched together, but ended as well as we could’ve hoped.
I hope you all enjoy this as much as I did putting it together, and be sure to leave your favourite moment of the season in the comment section. Bring on the playoffs.
