The Calgary Flames are in their bye week. While the Flames trek off to Mexico or Florida or warm climates – or in the cases of David Rittich, Mark Giordano and Matthew Tkachuk, St. Louis – the club’s prospects are plugging away.

Rather than have him linger on their fourth line, AIK sent Feuk down to their junior team to get some reps in. Playing on the first line for a junior team trying to avoid relegation, he had four assists in three wins. Not a bad start.

Pelletier continues to have quiet offensive nights – some of it might be him getting back into the swing of things post-concussion, some of it might be getting used to a new coach, some of it might just be Moncton’s a stacked team that doesn’t need to lean on him as much to succeed. Even with slower production lately he’s tied for 7th in the Q in scoring.
