Flames announce eight-game 2022-23 pre-season schedule

As we wait for the 2022 NHL Draft, the Calgary Flames have announced their pre-season calendar for the 2022-23 season.

The Flames will play eight games – four at home and four on the road – against the Seattle Kraken, Vancouver Canucks, Winnipeg Jets and Edmonton Oilers.

Here’s the breakdown (all times Mountain):

  • Sun., Sept. 25 at 5 p.m.: Calgary at Vancouver (split squad)
  • Sun., Sept. 25 at 6 p.m.: Vancouver at Calgary (split squad)
  • Tue., Sept. 27 at 8 p.m.: Calgary at Seattle
  • Wed., Sept. 28 at 7 p.m.: Edmonton at Calgary
  • Fri., Sept. 30 at 7 p.m.: Calgary at Edmonton
  • Mon., Oct. 3 at 7 p.m.: Seattle at Calgary
  • Wed., Oct. 5 at 6 p.m.: Calgary at Winnipeg
  • Fri., Oct. 7 at 7 p.m.: Winnipeg at Calgary

The Flames will also be participating in the Young Stars Classic prospect tournament in Penticton from Sept. 16-19, featuring Vancouver, Winnipeg and Edmonton.
