*12/31/09* Flames v. Oilers: Happy New Year!
Calgary Flames: 2 — Craig Conroy, Curtis Glencross [GWG]
Edmonton Oilers: 1 — Shawn Horcoff
While the rest of you sleep off a night of boozing debauchery, I have the privilege of heading off to work in mere minutes. Therefore, we’ll keep this short & sweet.
- After breaking the seal Wednesday night, Craig Conroy scored AGAIN. Back-to-back games for the lovable veteran.
- Curtis McElhinny got his 2nd win against the Oilers, nearly coming away with a shutout.
- It really brings a smile to my face when Curtis Glencross scores against the Oil, love it.
- Did Jeff Deslauriers really play that good or did the Flames make him look so?
- Since 1987, the Flames are 11-5-3 at home on New Year’s Eve, including a 4-0-1 mark against the Oilers
UP NEXT:
The lovable/laughable Toronto Maple Leafs visit "The ‘Dome" Saturday night (01/02/10 @ 5:00 CBC, FAN960). The Leafs are coming off a loss 3-1 to the Oilers Wednesday.
That’s it, that’s all for today. Enjoy the first day of the new decade.
~I know I sure will~
