College seasons are ending, and a couple of Calgary Flames prospects have already earned some year-end honours.
We mentioned elsewhere that Trevor Hoskin, a freshman at Niagara University and a 2024 fourth-round pick, has been named the Atlantic Hockey America conference’s rookie of the year, and been named to the conference’s second all-star and all-rookie teams.
Elsewhere, netminder Arsenii Sergeev, a junior at Penn State University and a 2021 seventh-round pick, was a finalist for Big 10’s goaltender of the year and been named to his conference’s second all-star team.
Meanwhile, we’re waiting for the various junior leagues to finish up and announce awards, but we’re pretty confident we’ll be hearing Zayne Parekh’s name quite a bit when they are announced.
