Colorado is extremely good at hockey – every aspect of it you could imagine they excel. They have more Star Power than a Mario Party winner with MacKinnon, Makar, Rantanen and role players that are at the top of their game. Calgary needs a full 60 minutes and a goaltender playing out of his mind to have a chance. Usually Colorado overcomes those anyways.
Primary Bet – Over 5.5 Total Goals (-150)
A $1 bet pays out $1.66 – The Avalanche can score 5v5, can really score up a man, and can probably outplay this years version of a Flames power play quite handily with 4 guys. Calgary finds a goal or two but Colorado finds a bunch (probably).
Secondary Bet – Colorado to score the 1st goal of match (-160)
A $1 bet pays out $1.62 – Calgary is just terrible at getting the first goal and/or bounce. They have to be feeling the loss before the group collectively plays good hockey. Over 60% of Flames games the other team scores first.
Tertiary Bet – Rasmus Andersson to get 1+ points (+120)
A $1 bet pays out $2.20 – After the last game where he flashed his offensive chops I’m going with Andersson again. Secondary assists count too and he’s usually out there for the most TOI.
