The LA Kings are a very good hockey club – they’ve got elite talent in their lineup contributing from a variety of age groups. Anze Kopitar and Sidney Crosby seem to be on the same aging plan: they don’t. Calgary as a team is coming off a real proper feel good game after dominating the Ducks so if they can hold off an early surge we might get a Festivus match for the ages.

Primary Bet – Trevor Moore to get 1+ points (-134)

A $1 bet pays out $1.75 – I don’t know why Nazem Kadri and Connor Zary aren’t options here, but the guy with a ten game pointless drought in Huberdeau is. Makes no sense – so instead we’ll go with a pleasant surprise this year in Trevor Moore from the Kings. A throw-in on the Jake Muzzin trade turned top 6 forward.

Secondary Bet – Yegor Sharangovich to get over 2.5 shots on goal (+135)

A $1 bet pays out $2.35 – This is more because Sharangovich plays all situations and all strengths of play. 5v5 his line with Lindholm has been getting buried but he’s a featured power play shooting option that also finds offence on the power-kill.

Tertiary Bet – Adrian Kempe anytime goal scorer (+162)

A $1 bet pays out $2.62 – I usually only pick points because the odds of them occurring are – obviously – way higher than just scoring a goal. The third pick is a vibe pick and I feel like Kempe is due to score a geno.
