The wild come into town with an attack that isn’t quite as strong as it was in 2021-22, but they’re defensive play is top notch. The score goals at a lower rate than Calgary and have generated about 4 expected goals of offence to this point in the season. Both teams being stout defensively leads me to believe this will not be a high scoring game. Looking around a 1 to 2 goal victory with no team getting more than 4 at the most.

Not a crazy payout but the one most likely to occur in my eyes. under 5.5 goals pays +115 so if you’re feeling risky go ahead but I’ll give myself an extra goal cushion here. If the power plays start clicking for either team this blows up in a hurry.

So go ahead and add 2.5 goals to the total of whatever MIN ends up getting and then if they win after the addition you win in your account. So a 4-2 Calgary Win would also be a +2.5 puck line win for the Wild. I’m just saying it’s going to be within a 2 goal score – if the Wild win outright you’d win this too.

Minnesota has their power play operating at +16% via HockeyViz.com whereas Calgary’s operates at -6%. They have a true pure PP quarterback in Calen Addison and a game breaking in Kirill Kaprizov. Go a man down and I’m sure the Wild will burn you.
