The Calgary Flames will be gunning for a sixth straight win when they wrap up a two-game road trip in Arizona on Tuesday night as +115 underdogs on the NHL odds at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.
Calgary remained perfect under interim head coach Geoff Ward with a 5-4 overtime win in Colorado on Monday, and now sits third in the Pacific Division standings, just four points back of Arizona and Edmonton, going into Tuesday night’s matchup at Gila River Arena.

The Flames also exacted revenge in Monday’s win, halting a three-game losing streak against Colorado, a slide that included a pair of defeats during last season’s first-round playoff series loss to the Avalanche.
However, goals have been at a premium in recent road dates with the Coyotes. The Flames have been shut out in their past two visits to the desert, and even with their offensive outburst against Colorado they remain one of the lowest-scoring road teams in the NHL.
The Coyotes return home after closing out a four-game road trip on Sunday with a narrow 4-3 win in Chicago as a -110 wager. Arizona picked up wins in three of four dates on the road, but has battled inconsistency on home ice, falling to defeat in three of their past four to fall to 7-6-1 at home this season.
Despite their recent struggles, the Coyotes have made gains in the Pacific Division standings, joining the Edmonton Oilers in first place with 40 points. Losers in consecutive contests just once in their past 15 outings, the Coyotes have also been rewarded at online sports betting sites for their steady play. The Coyotes sit at just +325 to win the division, and have also moved closer to the favorites on the odds to win the Western Conference at a healthy +1100.
Arizona has built its success this season on a sturdy defense and great goaltending, and currently sports an NHL-leading 2.28 team goals-against average. The team, though, also sits near the bottom of the stats with a middling 2.63 goals scored per game. However, that combination has failed to produce consistent results in totals betting, with the OVER 5-3 in the Coyotes’ past eight, including three straight home dates, ending a 6-0 run for the UNDER.
