The Calgary Flames will be looking to avoid their first three-game regular-season losing streak since early March when they visit the Nashville Predators on Thursday as +135 underdogs on the NHL odds at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.
Calgary travels to Music City after falling 2-1 in Carolina on Tuesday to remain winless so far on the team’s five-game road trip going into Thursday night’s matchup at Bridgestone Arena.

Flames at Predators | OddsShark Matchup Report

The Flames have fallen to defeat by a 2-1 score in each of the first two games on their current road trip, which opened with a Heritage Classic clash with the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday. Those losses extend what has been a dismal start to the team’s road schedule, with the club going 2-5-1 in their first eight contests away from Scotiabank Saddledome, according to the OddsShark NHL Database.
Goal production on the road remains a concern for the Flames, with Calgary shooters scoring just eight total goals over the club’s past six road dates. The Flames’ inability to score has wasted some impressive defensive efforts, with Calgary allowing two or fewer goals in four road contests this season, including each of the past three. That has contributed to a steady 6-2 run for the UNDER in totals betting over Calgary’s eight road contests this season.
The Flames have also been shaky performers in recent road dates with Central Division opponents. In addition to dropping a pair of road matchups to Colorado during their first-round playoff series loss to the Avalanche last spring, the Flames also lost outright in four of their past seven regular-season road tilts with opponents from the Central. However, Calgary has dominated in recent visits to Nashville, posting wins in seven of their past eight, capped by a 3-0 shutout victory as +145 underdogs at online betting sites in October of last year.
However, Calgary must now contend with a Predators squad that rides a four-game win streak into Thursday’s contest as -165 favourites. Nashville is coming off a decisive 3-0 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks as -200 chalk on Tuesday to open its current three-game homestand, and has surrendered just three total goals during the team’s four-game surge.
The Predators have largely dominated on home ice this season, going 6-1-1 through their first eight dates at Bridgestone Arena, including shutout victories in their past two outings.
