The Calgary Flames will be looking to extend their current road winning streak to four games when they visit the Minnesota Wild on Monday as +105 underdogs on the NHL odds at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.
Calgary slammed the door on a three-game overall losing streak on Sunday as they opened a three-game road trip in Dallas with a decisive 5-1 win to even their away record at 9-9-2 going into Monday night’s matchup at Xcel Energy Center.

Flames at Wild | OddsShark Matchup Report

After riding a seven-game win streak into December the Flames sputtered in a recent homestand, losing three straight while getting outscored by a 12-3 overall margin. However, they rediscovered their offensive touch in Sunday’s win as +125 underdogs at betting sites.
And the Flames will look to build on their recent road success in Minnesota, where they have posted outright wins in four of five visits while limiting the Wild to just six total goals during that stretch. However, Calgary has potted three or fewer goals in nine straight road dates with Minnesota, fueling a 5-0 run for the UNDER in totals betting.
The Wild enter Monday’s contest looking to rebound after suffering their worst defeat of the season with a 6-0 loss to the Winnipeg Jets as -125 chalk on Saturday night. With Saturday’s defeat marking just their second home loss in regulation, the Wild are listed as -125 favourites for Monday’s matchup.
Minnesota has struggled since compiling a season-high five-game win streak earlier this month. The team has fallen to defeat in five of eight contests since, surrendering 4.25 goals per game during that stretch.
But while Saturday’s loss to the Jets marked the third time they have been shut out this season, the Wild have also enjoyed offensive outbursts in recent outings, averaging six goals per game over their three recent victories. And even with Saturday’s shutout loss, the Wild have averaged 3.67 goals per game over six home dates, contributing to a steady 7-3-2 run for the OVER in their past 12 contests.
The Wild’s strong play at home has helped them exceed expectations. Pegged as a lengthy +5500 wager on the Stanley Cup odds on opening night, the Wild sit just four points behind the Flames in the hunt for the second Western Conference wild card going into Monday’s action, and have climbed to +3300 on those NHL futures.
