Giordano Out Tonight vs. Islanders
By Ryan Pike
9 years agoLadies and gentlemen, it may soon be time to panic.
There’s no word yet on how long he’ll be out of the line-up, but coach Bob Hartley has informed the traveling media that Mark Giordano will not play tonight versus the New York Islanders.
The Flames have yet to announce or confirm any roster moves to open up a roster spot for Tyler Wotherspoon’s recall, though one could speculate it would involve either Giordano or the status of Mason Raymond (who won’t rejoin the team until the game in Philadelphia post-deadline after the birth of his daughter). We’ll continue to update this story as it develops.
UPDATE: It appears that Mason Raymond is indeed non-roster. Ladislav Smid and Paul Byron are injured reserve, Raymond and Matt Stajan are non-roster (due to adding children to their families).
