The Calgary Flames will be looking to extend their season-high winning streak to four games when they host the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday as heavy -210 favourites on the NHL odds at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.
Calgary continued its recent strong play with a 4-3 victory over the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday, and has now picked up at least a point in five straight contests going into Saturday night’s matchup at Scotiabank Saddledome.

The Flames’ current run comes on the heels of a six-game losing streak that bounced the club from the playoff picture in the Western Conference. While the Flames still have work to do to return to playoff contention, they have shown steady improvement offensively. Thursday’s four-goal performance marked the Flames’ highest offensive output in 11 games. The club has now averaged three goals per game over their past five contests after potting just five total goals in their previous six outings.
The UNDER remains a steady wager at betting sites when Calgary takes the ice, going 9-1-1 in the Flames’ past 11 games, including 4-1 over their past five home dates. And despite enjoying their longest points streak since a 7-0-1 run back in February, the Flames have failed to gain ground in the Pacific Division standings, entering the weekend in sixth place, and they sit as a  +1800 wager on the Western Conference championship odds.
The Flames have also come up short in two previous meetings with the Kings this season, including a narrow 4-3 loss as -235 favorites back on October 8. In addition, the Flames have just two wins to their credit in their past seven meetings with Los Angeles, and sport a middling 2-2-2 record in the Kings’ past six visits to the Saddledome.
However, the Flames may be meeting Los Angeles at just the right time. While the Kings have been a pleasant surprise while posting a 9-6-1 record on home ice this season, they have struggled badly away from the Staples Center. That has Los Angeles taking an NHL-worst record on the road into Saturday night’s game at Calgary as lengthy +175 underdogs.
