The Calgary Flames’ 2024 NHL Draft selections are now locked in

The 2024 Stanley Cup Final is now set, as the Edmonton Oilers are slated to face the Florida Panthers starting on Saturday night in Florida.
The Flames had three conditional picks that hinged on playoff results. All three failed to convert.
- If Vegas advanced to the second round, the Flames would receive a 2025 second-round pick instead of a 2024 third-round pick from the Noah Hanifin trade (This didn’t happen, as Dallas eliminated Vegas in the first round.)
- If Vancouver advanced to the third round, the Flames would receive a 2024 third-round pick instead of a 2024 fourth-round pick from the Elias Lindholm trade. (This didn’t happen, as Edmonton eliminated Vancouver in the second round.)
- If Dallas advanced to the Stanley Cup Final, the Flames would receive a 2026 third-round pick from the Chris Tanev trade. (This didn’t happen, as Edmonton eliminated Dallas in the third round.)

1st round, 9th overall
This is the Flames’ original pick.
1st round, 28th overall
This is Vancouver’s pick which was sent to the Flames in the Elias Lindholm trade.
2nd round, 41st overall
This is the Flames’ original pick.
2nd round, 62nd overall
This is Dallas’ pick which was sent to the Flames in the Chris Tanev trade.
3rd round, 74th overall
This is the Flames’ original pick.
3rd round, 84th overall
This is Vegas’ pick which was sent to the Flames in the Noah Hanifin trade.
4th round, 106th overall
This is the Flames’ original pick.
4th round, 107th overall
This was New Jersey’s pick, sent to Vancouver for Curtis Lazar, and subsequently sent to Calgary in the Elias Lindholm trade. The Flames haven’t had consecutive draft selections since 2002.
6th round, 170th overall
This is the Flames’ original pick.
