The NHL season ends in 8 days. There are nine teams competing for eight spots.
Here’s where things stand as the Flames enjoy an off night.

SCOREBOARD WATCHING

Take tonight off, folks, because there are no games with direct playoff implications. Well, for the Flames:
  • Dallas faces St. Louis!
  • Colorado faces Anaheim!
  • San Jose faces Arizona!
A Colorado loss officially kills their playoff hopes. Poor, poor Jarome Iginla.
