It’s a quiet night in the National Hockey League, with just four games on tap. But man, some of those games could be very, very fun to watch. We get two proverbial clashes of titans as Dallas faces Florida and Carolina visits Edmonton! Plus Pittsburgh/Tampa Bay and Vegas/St. Louis could be fun as well.

It’s not a guarantee, but these teams could play a 4-3 or 5-3 game and it wouldn’t feel like a wild divergence from each of their styles.

Mr. Svechnikov – as Jordan Martinook regularly declares him during the ‘Canes’ pre-game rituals – is one of a few impressive potential Carolina scorers. We’re leaning Svechnikov because he has slightly longer odds to score a goal than Sebastian Aho (+140) or Seth Jarvis (+200), but your mileage may vary.
