The Panthers generate a TON of offence. It’s part of the reason their defensive coverage looks so good because they have the puck in the offensive zone most of the time. Calgary defends by the net at an okay level, not the elite shutdown team we saw last season so far this campaign. This is leaning like a 4-3 kind of game wither team could take – but Calgary is going to need their goaltender at his top level to win.

Primary Bet – FLA Panthers Moneyline (-130)
Outright for a dominant team to win in their own home? Yeah i’ll take that. There’s been enough cracks shown in the Flames game that any of the heavy skilled teams from the Atlantic should beat them.
Secondary Bet – OVER 5.5 total goals (-167)
Containing the Florida offence is easier said then done. Without Vezina level goaltending the Panthers should still be able to get at least 3, if Calgary keeps it competitive this will hit.
Tertiary Bet – Matthew Tkachuk Anytime Goalscorer (+140)
Normally this is viewed as the “oh of course he’ll score against his former team” pick, but when you also factor in expected goal and possession metrics he’s one of the most likely players on the ice to score anyways. He’s one of the smartest players playing the game and is always dangerous.
As usual, bet safe and enjoy the game!
