The Carolina Hurricanes are a great team that can’t buy a save. They put lots of shots on net and are good at keeping up the pace but have been let down by goaltending frequently this season. The Flames can get caught sleeping in the first – they’ve shown that frequently – but can crawl back late. I expect a fairly high scoring affair… unless Wolf shows up and shows out. That’s more than just possible.

Primary Bet – Over 5.5 total goals (-180)
A $1 bet pays out $1.55 – Again Carolina can’t make a save and Calgary is starting a rookie. An extremely high potential rookie, so we’ll see.
Secondary Bet – Dustin Wolf over 28.5 saves (-125)
A $1 bet pays out $1.80 – Why not bet on the reigning AHL MVP to stop a lot of puck against a team that takes a lot of shots. Seems smart to do.
Tertiary Bet – Nazem Kadri to get 1+ points (-118)
A $1 bet pays out $1.85 – Nazem usually hits when I pick him, last game got the assist off a faceoff win. He still feels like the most consistent option to hit the scoresheet in Calgary.
