The team that played for the Stanley Cup last year are still a good squad, but not as dominating as they were during their playoff run. When you can’t absolutely crush guys and abuse them every shift you end up with a few less wins – if they make the postseason they’ll be more dangerous. The real hard part here is – after watching him for over half a decade – Matthew Tkachuk shows up for big games and coming back to Calgary is a big game.

Primary Bet – Jacob Markstrom over 27.5 Saves (-118)
A $1 bet pays out $1.85 – Markstrom is back, I don’t think he’ll be rusty, and if the Panthers simply get shots on net this will work.
Matthew Tkachuk to get 1+ points (-225)
A $1 bet pays out $1.44 – Of course he will. Of course.
Andrew Mangiapane over 1.5 shots on goal (-150)
A $1 bet pays out $1.66 – This isn’t my best recommendation because his line has constantly lost the possession battle, but I’m really vibing with anyone playing with Sharangovich right now.
