The Calgary Flames have announced their training camp roster, and their camp schedule, for the 2026-27’s main camp.

The roster includes 40 players under active NHL contracts, 1 professional try-out player (Alex Nylander), 1 unsigned restricted free agent (Brennan Othmann), 1 unsigned junior prospect (Chase Harrington), and 9 players under active AHL contracts.

They’ve carved the larger roster into two smaller camp rosters: Team Red, comprised of the NHL regulars, plus Nylander and Harrington, and Team Black, with everybody else, ostensibly the AHL group.

They’ll kick off their four game exhibition schedule on Sunday when they host Seattle.

Here’s a rundown of the 52 players headed to camp.

Wolf and Cooley are in Team Red, as NHL locks. The other four are in Team Black, and they’re your minor-league crew.

Team Red features the probable NHLers: Bahl, Hanley, Kuznetsov, Middleton, Nemec, Pachal, Parekh and Whitecloud. Team Black, the other eight, are the probable AHLers.

Team Red features 15 forward, the majority of which are likely NHLers: Backlund, Coronato, Farabee, Frost, Gridin, Honzek, Huberdeau, Klapka, Pospisil, Sharangovich, Tsyplakov and Zary. Oh, and Nylander, a PTO, and Harrington, a junior prospect.

Huberdeau is still injured and won’t begin camp with Team Red, but the hope is that he’ll join them at some point.
