Another week, another honour for Calgary Flames prospect Matt Coronato. The 2021 first-round selection of the Flames, now a sophomore at Harvard University, was named to ECAC Hockey’s second all-conference team on Thursday.
Coronato has 19 goals and 35 points in 31 games overall this season, including 12 goals and 25 points in 22 in-conference games.
Coronato was one of eight Harvard Crimson players named to an all-conference team:
- Sean Farrell and Henry Thrun were named to the first team
- Coronato, Mitchell Gibson and Alex Laferriere were named to the second team
- Ryan Healey and Joe Muller were named to the all-rookie team
Havard plays Cornell on Friday night in the ECAC conference semi-final, with the final going Saturday. The NCAA selection show for the men’s hockey tournament takes place on Sunday, with Harvard widely expected to be selected regardless of if they win their conference or not based on their overall record.
