<p>The Calgary Flames began the 2022 Stanley Cup playoffs on Tuesday night when they hosted the Dallas Stars in Game 1 of the first round. The Flames scored an early power play goal and then did what they could to make that goal stand as the game-winner, defending fairly well in a penalty-filled game. They held on for 1-0 victory over Dallas to take a 1-0 series lead.</p>
