The quotes

Head coach Darryl Sutter
On winning the division: “The team deserves it. Been the most consistent team in the division. Deserve to win the division, regular season. Won lots of them. It goes up there, you get nothing for it.”
On how he’ll manage his goalies over the final four games: “When you’re used to not making the playoffs or losing in the first round, then you play two goalies.”
On the two bench minors: “Our defensemen had taken two too many men on the ice. That’s a first for me. tough with six defensemen to have two of them, two changes that you get caught on.”

On the flurry of first period penalties and if he can recall a game getting down to three-on-three due to penalties: “It was three-on-three, four-on-three, four-on-four, five-on-four. It was kind of weird. No. Do I recall? It wouldn’t happen too often, ever.”
Matthew Tkachuk
On the ovation after his 100th point: “Normally this is really the only place in the whole league that would give me applause like that.”

On the significance of clinching the Pacific: “To clinch the division, that’s great. But we’re not stopping there. We don’t want to. We’ve got bigger goals for our team.”
