David Rittich named NHL’s second star of the week

As the Calgary Flames emerge from their crazy November, arguably their best player has been recognized by the National Hockey League. Flames goaltender David Rittich has been named the NHL’s second star for the past week.
The most-used goaltender in the NHL right now, Rittich been superb for the club this season despite getting inconsistent run support. He’s first in the NHL in games and starts (23), tied for second in wins (13) and shutouts (2). He’s been extremely reliable for a Flames club that has been anything but thus far.
