Didn’t get tickets? Attend free playoff watch parties!

Everyone loves watching playoff hockey. But playoff tickets are often quite expensive. Thankfully, there are free playoff watch parties set up by the Calgary Flames and the city of Calgary.
Home games
The Flames are hosting watch parties in Stampede Park in Lot 3 – right across from the Saddledome – for every home game, with festivities beginning three hours prior to puck drop.
This event is free and available for all ages and will be held during each home playoff game. Fans in attendance can watch the game live on the enormous TITAN screen along with live music, Harvey the Hound, face painting, interactive stations, food and drink specials, and prizes available to be won.
Away games
The city is hosting watch parties at Olympic Plaza for every away game, with things kicking off an hour prior to puck drop.
We’re turning Olympic Plaza into a free, fun and family-focused area for all away games. Starting one hour before puck drop, Olympic Plaza will become a giant living room with:
- A big screen to watch the away game live
- Family activities with draw prizes
- Food trucks
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs or a blanket to sit on. Alcohol and smoking are not permitted at Olympic Plaza.
