Dillon Dube leaves Saturday’s game after hit from Duncan Keith

The Calgary Flames finished Saturday’s game against the Chicago Blackhawks a man down. Rookie forward Dillon Dube left the game after a scary first period hit from Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith.
Dube got to his feet slowly and was helped to the bench area by Flames trainer Kent Kobelka. He went to the Flames locker room immediately for evaluation and didn’t return. Keith was given a major penalty for boarding and a game misconduct for the hit.
The Flames subsequently announced that he would not be returning to the game for precautionary reasons. We’ll update his status as information becomes available.
