Dillon Dube scores first NHL goal

Ladies and gentlemen, the wait is over for Dillon Dube. The Calgary Flames rookie scored his first NHL goal in the first period of Wednesday night’s game against the Winnipeg Jets.
The goal came early in the first period, with Dube’s line matched up against Patrik Laine’s trio. Mark Jankowski had the puck behind the net and found Dube parked at the top of the crease for a nice bang-bang play to tie the game.
For those of you tracking at home, the goal came in Dube’s 17th NHL game and on his 18th career shot. Teammate Travis Hamonic retrieved the puck for him as a keepsake.
