A pair of Calgary Flames prospects have been honoured by the Western Hockey League for their play in the truncated 2020-21 season. Dustin Wolf and Connor Zary have been named divisional all-stars in the U.S. and B.C. Divisions, respectively.

Wolf played in 22 of Everett’s 23 games, leading them to a divisional crown. He was among the league leaders in basically every goaltending category for the third straight season, and quite simply was one of the top goaltenders in his age group in the continent. He went 18-3-0 with a 1.80 goals against average, .940 save percentage and four shutouts, and also captured a gold medal as backup to Spencer Knight at the World Juniors. He was named a Western Conference All-Star in each of the previous two seasons and the CHL Goaltender of the Year last season.

Zary played in 15 of Kamloops’ 22 games, leading them to a division title as well. He had six goals and 24 points in those 15 games to close out his major junior career. He was named a Western Conference All-Star last season.

Both Wolf and Zary are 2001-born players and are eligible (and expected) to go pro in 2021-22.
