Watch: Elias Lindholm scores first goal as a Flame

The Calgary Flames scored early in Saturday night’s home opener, lighting the lamp just 12 seconds into the game. Goal-scorer Elias Lindholm had reason to celebrate, as it was his first goal as a Flame.

Mark Giordano and TJ Brodie received assists on the goal.
Lindholm was acquired by the Flames at the NHL Draft (along with Noah Hanifin) in a trade that sent Dougie Hamilton, Micheal Ferland and the rights to Adam Fox to the Carolina Hurricanes. He’s been playing on the top line to start this season, playing on the right side of Johnny Gaudreau and Sean Monahan.
